Short answer. ClickUp's pricing page now sells Free, Core at $9 a seat a month billed yearly, Business at $17, Enterprise on a quote, and a new Max plan at $100. Wayback Machine captures up to 27 October 2026 show the same page displaying Unlimited at $7 and Business at $12, so for a new customer the entry paid plan is $2 a seat dearer (about 29%) and Business is $5 dearer (about 42%) on yearly billing. ClickUp's help center says new Workspaces start on the new plans and certain existing Workspaces are being moved over gradually, with any price update at renewal and no earlier than January 2027; some will have no price update, and Workspaces not moved keep their current price. We earn a commission if you buy monday.com through our links; ClickUp pays us nothing.

We read the prices below on 30 October 2026 on ClickUp's pricing page, in ClickUp's help center articles Intro to pricing (updated 16 October), AI Credits availability and limits (updated 28 October) and Pricing per user role and plan (updated 17 October), in Wayback Machine captures of the pricing page from September and October, and on monday.com's pricing page. Prices are US dollars per seat per month, before any tax (monday.com says tax and price depend on the billing country; ClickUp's page does not mention tax).

ClickUp plans and prices in October 2026
Each priced card shows the yearly price and, struck through, a "regular price", which we read as the month-to-month rate: the lower figure is labelled "billed yearly", and $17 against $25 is a 32% saving, in line with the page's "up to 33%". That reading is ours, not a quoted monthly price.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Regular price | AI credits a seat a month | Automations a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Forever | $0 | $0 | 500 one time per Workspace | Not listed on the card |
| Core | $9 | $12 | 1,000, pooled | 1,000 |
| Business | $17 | $25 | 1,500, pooled | 10,000 |
| Enterprise | Quote | Quote | 3,000, pooled | 1 million |
| Max | $100 | $120 | 10,000, pooled | 1 million |
Max includes everything in Enterprise plus unlimited AI Fields, AI image generation, Autopilot agents and AI dashboard cards; Super Agents, Artifacts and video and audio generation still use credits on Max. ClickUp's credit table also lists a Business Plus plan with 2,000 credits a seat, but the pricing page does not show it or its price. Free Forever lists "Unlimited Free Members", 60 MB of storage and five Spaces.
What changed: Unlimited and Business became Core and Business
Wayback Machine captures of clickup.com/pricing show the order of events:
- To 7 October: the page carried only the old lineup, Unlimited at $7 billed yearly ($10 monthly) and Business at $12 ($19 monthly), with AI sold as add-ons: Brain AI at $9 a user a month and Everything AI at $28 on yearly billing (the same figures appear in the 21 September and 27 October captures).
- Between 7 and 9 October: a second lineup appeared in the page's code under "Compare every feature in our latest plans": Free, Core at $8, Business at $17, Enterprise (custom) and Max at $100.
- Between 12 and 13 October: Core in that lineup went from $8 to $9.
- 27 October: the capture still wraps the new lineup in a test variant ("pricing-2026-variant"), and rendered in the archive it displays the old cards.
- By 30 October: the old cards are gone. The live page we read shows only the new lineup.
The page runs A/B testing code, so some visitors may have seen the new lineup earlier. The table compares list prices for a new customer.
| Old plan (to October 2026) | New plan | Yearly price, old to new | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unlimited | Core | $7 to $9 | +$24 a seat a year (+28.6%) |
| Business | Business | $12 to $17 | +$60 a seat a year (+41.7%) |
| Business with Brain AI add-on | Business | $21 to $17 | $48 a seat a year less (-19%) |
| Enterprise with Everything AI | Max | Quote plus $28 to $100 | Not comparable (Enterprise was quote only) |
On the regular price, which we read as month-to-month, Core is $12 against Unlimited's $10 (+20%) and Business is $25 against $19 (+31.6%). Some of the increase buys more: the Business card lists 10,000 automations a month, up from 5,000 on the old card, and, in the help center's words, the new plans "include AI instead of offering it as separate add-ons".
What changes for existing ClickUp customers
ClickUp's Intro to pricing article is the most specific source here. It says "New Workspaces start on the new plans. Certain existing Workspaces are gradually being upgraded." For an upgraded Workspace, "Your price stays the same until the date in your notice. After that date, your price updates at the stated renewal, not mid-term. Price updates begin no earlier than January 2027. Some Workspaces have no price update."
- How to check: the Workspace owner gets an email, and if a change applies, owners and admins see a "See what changes" notice in the Upcoming Bill section of the billing page. No notice there means no current change.
- Not moved yet: "Workspaces that have not been upgraded keep their current plan, features, and price."
- Features: "No features are removed from your plan."
- AI add-ons: Workspaces that bought Everything AI keep their current plan and Everything AI. On the new plans, the Brain AI and Everything AI add-ons cannot be bought; extra AI credits can.
- Customers with an account team: "no changes to your current prices or plans"; the account team "will work with you to determine if your needs are better served with the new plans."
What ClickUp does not say on these pages is the new price any one Workspace will pay, so use the list prices above as a reference to compare your notice against, not a confirmed bill. The same article adds that "Pricing and packaging are subject to change."
AI credits: what 1,000 a seat buys
Per ClickUp's AI credits article, the allowance on the new plans is set by billed seats, "shared across your Workspace", resets on the first of each month and does not roll over. When a paid plan's allowance runs out, credit features pause until the monthly reset, or until you buy more credits or upgrade; Free Forever's 500 credits never reset. Extra credits cost $10 per 10,000, or $0.001 each. ClickUp also warns that credits are "not counted as one credit per request" and that "Every Super Agent run consumes credits", so we cannot tell you how many tasks 1,000 credits cover. Workspaces still on the old plans have different limits: 1,000 trial credits a user that never reset without an add-on, 1,500 a user a month with Brain AI and 5,000 with Everything AI.
The top-up price does let you value the allowance. Core's 1,000 credits a seat are worth $1.00 a month at $0.001 each, Business's 1,500 are $1.50, Enterprise's 3,000 are $3.00 and Max's 10,000 are $10.00. Max costs $83 a seat a month more than Business on yearly billing, but its extra 8,500 credits would cost $8.50 to buy. In our view, most of Max's premium pays for Enterprise controls and the AI features it makes unlimited, not for credits. If your team only needs more credits, topping up Business is the cheaper route on these numbers.

Who pays more and who pays less
For a ten-seat team on yearly billing, at new-customer list prices (an existing Workspace's price is set by its notice):
- Unlimited to Core: $840 to $1,080 a year, $240 more.
- Business to Business: $1,440 to $2,040 a year, $600 more.
- Business plus Brain AI to Business: $2,520 to $2,040 a year, $480 less. Brain AI was $9 a user a month on yearly billing and came with 1,500 credits a user a month, the same allowance new Business includes. The two are not identical: Brain AI listed "Unlimited AI chat", while the new Business card lists premium models and standard models marked "Unlimited*".
Core is not a cheap way to replace Unlimited plus Brain AI. Core includes 1,000 credits a seat, but ClickUp's comparison table marks its Brain chat models, premium and standard, as "Trial". A team that relies on AI chat should price Business, not Core.
ClickUp vs monday.com on price
monday.com sells Basic at $9 a seat a month billed yearly ($12 monthly), Standard at $12 ($14) and Pro at $19 ($24), Enterprise on a quote. The yearly Standard and Pro prices include a "special offer" of $20 and $30 off a month, with no end date or terms shown; the monthly prices in brackets carry no offer. monday sells seats in buckets of 3, 5, 10, 15 and up, so a six-person team buys ten seats; our monday.com pricing guide explains that rule. ClickUp charges for every paid user in the Workspace (owners, admins, members, limited members and permission-controlled guests, with some guest seats included per plan), and the whole Workspace must be on one plan. Yearly totals before tax, seat price times seats billed, monday Standard and Pro at the offer price:
| Team size | ClickUp Core | ClickUp Business | monday Basic | monday Standard (offer) | monday Pro (offer) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 people | $324 | $612 | $324 | $432 | $684 |
| 6 people | $648 | $1,224 | $1,080 | $1,440 | $2,280 |
| 10 people | $1,080 | $2,040 | $1,080 | $1,440 | $2,280 |
| 11 people | $1,188 | $2,244 | $1,620 | $2,160 | $3,420 |
The plans do not line up exactly. In our reading, ClickUp Core is closest to monday Standard (both list Gantt views, automations and guest access) and ClickUp Business is closest to monday Pro (both list private boards or views, and time tracking or timesheets). On that pairing ClickUp costs less at every size in the table, even after its increase and even at monday's offer prices: $648 against $1,440 for six people on Core and Standard. Buckets widen the gap at sizes like 6 and 11.
monday.com still wins on some numbers. Pro lists 25,000 automation actions a month against ClickUp Business's 10,000 automations, while Core lists 1,000 against Standard's 250; the two vendors may count automations differently. monday Basic matches ClickUp Core at 3 and 10 people ($324 and $1,080). In ClickUp's favour, its Free Forever plan allows unlimited members and lists time tracking, while monday's Free plan stops at two seats. monday's Basic and Standard cards showed the same AI allowance (1,000 and 2,000 credits a month) at 3 and at 10 seats, while ClickUp's grows with seats; the two vendors' credits are different units.
If the new ClickUp prices have you comparing, price monday.com at your exact team size (partner link), because one extra hire can move you up a full bucket of seats.
Which ClickUp plan to choose
Our suggestions, based on the prices above:
- Small team, no AI needs: Free Forever if five Spaces and 60 MB are enough; otherwise Core at $108 a seat a year.
- Team that uses AI chat or Super Agents daily: Business at $204 a seat a year, then top up credits at $10 per 10,000 before considering Max.
- Need SAML SSO, SCIM or a BAA: Enterprise on a quote, or Max at $1,200 a seat a year on yearly billing if you also want more AI features unlimited at a public price.
- Existing customer: check the Upcoming Bill section for a "See what changes" notice before you renew or change plan.
- Comparing tools: run your real head count through both price lists. ClickUp's first paid subscription carries a 30-day full refund, and monday.com's cards offer "Try for free"; start with monday.com's Try for free option (partner link) if its bucket lands in your favour.

Frequently Asked Questions
On ClickUp's pricing page on 30 October 2026, Free Forever is $0, Core is $9 a seat a month billed yearly (regular price $12), Business is $17 (regular $25), Max is $100 (regular $120) and Enterprise is quoted. Prices are in US dollars per seat; totals here are before any tax.
Yes, for new customers. Wayback captures up to 27 October 2026 show the pricing page listing Unlimited at $7 and Business at $12 a seat billed yearly; by 30 October it lists Core at $9 and Business at $17. That is $24 and $60 more a seat a year at list prices. ClickUp says the new plans include AI instead of selling it as separate add-ons.
Possibly. ClickUp's help center says certain existing Workspaces are being upgraded gradually. For those, the price stays the same until the date in the notice, then updates at renewal, no earlier than January 2027, and some Workspaces have no price update. Workspaces not upgraded keep their current plan and price. Check the Upcoming Bill section of your billing page.
The Unlimited card left the public pricing page between 27 and 30 October 2026, and Core, at $9 a seat billed yearly, takes its place as the entry paid plan. Workspaces that have not been upgraded keep their current plan, features and price.
On the new plans, per seat per month and pooled across the Workspace: Core 1,000, Business 1,500, Business Plus 2,000, Enterprise 3,000 and Max 10,000; Free Forever gets 500 one-time credits per Workspace. Credits reset on the first of each month, do not roll over, and extra credits cost $10 per 10,000. Old plans have different limits, such as 1,500 a user a month with the Brain AI add-on.
On yearly list prices, usually yes. Six people cost $648 a year on ClickUp Core against $1,440 on monday Standard at its offer price, partly because monday sells seats in buckets and six people buy ten seats. monday Basic matches Core at 3 and 10 people ($324 and $1,080). monday Pro lists more automation actions than ClickUp Business (25,000 against 10,000), while Core lists more than Standard (1,000 against 250), and the two may count automations differently. Pairing Core with Standard is our reading of the feature lists.
