Acuity Scheduling Pricing: Premium Now $55, Up From $49

Short answer. Acuity Scheduling's Premium plan now costs $55 a month billed yearly ($660 a year) or $69 a month on monthly billing, up from $49 and $61. The new prices appeared on Acuity's pricing page between Wayback Machine captures on 12 and 15 October 2026, while Starter ($16 yearly, $20 monthly) and Standard ($27, $34) did not move. That is $72 more a year on yearly billing (about 12%) or $96 more month to month (about 13%). When we checked on 30 October, Google's AI Overview for "acuity scheduling pricing" still showed the old $49 and $61. Acuity bills in US dollars, HighLevel's phone pricing guide states USD, and Calendly's page shows dollars. We earn a commission if you buy HighLevel (GoHighLevel) through our links; Acuity and Calendly pay us nothing.

Acuity Scheduling plans and prices in October 2026

Acuity sells three self-serve plans and an Enterprise tier sold through its sales team. Each plan has one price and a calendar limit (1, 6, 36), and each tier adds features.

There is no free plan for new sign-ups. Acuity's FAQ says it "doesn't offer free appointment scheduling at this time", and the trial lasts 7 days with no credit card needed. The same FAQ lists no setup, cancellation or support fees. Prices exclude applicable taxes, and Acuity bills in US dollars. Acuity does not charge you for connecting a payment processor, but the processor charges its own fees.

What changed: Premium went from $49 to $55

Acuity's pricing page showed Premium at $49 a month billed yearly and $61 month to month in every Wayback Machine capture we checked from 8 July to 12 October 2026 (05:28 UTC). The capture of 15 October (11:00 UTC) shows $55 and $69, as do later captures and the live page on 30 October. A word-by-word comparison of the 12 and 15 October captures shows the Premium price as the only change; no plan feature moved.

PremiumTo 12 OctoberFrom 15 OctoberChange
Billed yearly, per month$49$55+$6 (12.2%)
Billed yearly, per year$588$660+$72
Monthly billing, per month$61$69+$8 (13.1%)
Monthly billing, 12 months$732$828+$96

We found no announcement on the pricing page or in Acuity's help center. One earlier change sits on the same page: the AI Booking Assistant, a Premium-only chat widget that suggests services and open times to clients, first appears in the 21 September capture and is missing from the 4 September one. Nothing on the page links the two.

The cost of moving from Standard to Premium rose with it. On yearly billing, a seventh calendar used to mean $22 a month more ($49 against $27); it now means $28 a month, or $336 a year. On monthly billing the step went from $27 to $35 a month.

Will existing Premium customers pay $55?

Acuity has not said, as far as we could find. Its help article on legacy plans, last updated on 12 August 2026, before this change, says Acuity periodically updates plans and prices and that "many customers remain on their original legacy plans". It also says no one can sign up for a legacy plan, and it sets two different rules:

  • If you log in with an Acuity account, you keep legacy pricing even if you upgrade, downgrade or switch between annual and monthly payments.
  • If you log in with a Squarespace account, you lose legacy pricing if you upgrade, downgrade, cancel or switch between annual and monthly payments.

For everyone, the article says "It's not possible to return to legacy pricing after switching to a current plan." So check before you touch your plan. Acuity says that if you log in with an Acuity account you can "confirm the difference between your legacy pricing and current pricing by visiting the My account panel". If you log in with Squarespace, Squarespace's help center says "You'll manage billing for Acuity directly through your Squarespace account." Acuity also notes that its older price-change emails were sent under the name Squarespace Scheduling, so search your inbox for both names.

Does yearly billing really save 20%?

Close enough. The toggle says "Save 20%", and measured against the monthly price the yearly price saves 20.0% on Starter, 20.6% on Standard and 20.3% on the new Premium. Before mid October, Premium's yearly price saved 19.7%, just under the label. In dollars, yearly billing saves $48 a year on Starter, $84 on Standard and $168 on Premium. If you hold a legacy price and log in with Squarespace, switching billing periods ends that price.

When Premium is worth $55 a month

Premium is the only self-serve plan with these features, according to Acuity's pricing page and help center:

  • More than 6 calendars. Premium allows up to 36. Used in full, that works out to about $1.53 per calendar a month on yearly billing, against $4.50 on a full Standard plan.
  • A HIPAA business associate agreement. Acuity's HIPAA article says an account can be made HIPAA-enabled "on the Premium or Powerhouse plan" (Powerhouse is a name the help center uses beside Premium; it is not on the pricing page). It also warns that email and text notifications "may contain Protected Health Information (PHI) by default" and that you are responsible for changing them in your notification settings.
  • The API and custom CSS. In Acuity's words, "CSS customization and API access are available on the Premium or Powerhouse plan." Webhooks, which notify a URL you choose about bookings and purchases, work on every plan, up to 25 per contributor.
  • The AI Booking Assistant, staff in several time zones, and removing the Acuity logo from the scheduling page.

Text reminders are not a reason to buy Premium. They start on Standard, Acuity says "any text messages sent by Acuity to you or your clients are free to you", and each appointment gets one text reminder. Texts are not available during the free trial, and Acuity asks you to complete a verification step before it assigns a dedicated number.

Bar chart: a year on yearly billing costs $120 for one Calendly Standard seat, $192 for Acuity Starter (1 calendar), $324 for Acuity Standard (6 calendars), $588 for Acuity Premium before mid October and $660 now, and $970 for HighLevel Starter before usage fees.

Acuity vs Calendly vs HighLevel on price

Acuity prices each plan with a calendar limit, Calendly prices each user who hosts meetings (a seat), and HighLevel prices a whole marketing and CRM account, with email, texts, calls and some AI features billed by usage.

PlanBilled yearlyMonthly billingPriced per
Acuity Starter$16 a month$20 a monthPlan, 1 calendar
Acuity Standard$27 a month$34 a monthPlan, up to 6 calendars
Acuity Premium$55 a month$69 a monthPlan, up to 36 calendars
Calendly Free$0$0One event type, one calendar connection
Calendly Standard$10 a seat a month$12 a seat a monthEach host
Calendly Teams$16 a seat a month$20 a seat a monthEach host
HighLevel Starter$970 a year ($80.83 a month, our calculation)$97 a monthPlan, up to 3 sub-accounts, usage extra

Calendly costs less for one person: its Free plan covers one event type and one calendar connection (the page lists automations and reminders from Standard up), and Standard is $120 a year per seat on yearly billing against Acuity Starter's $192. With several people taking bookings, the seat price adds up. Four Calendly Standard seats are $480 a year, while one Acuity Standard account covers up to six calendars for $324. Calendly seats and Acuity calendars are not the same unit, so count the hosts and calendars you actually need before comparing. We did not check Calendly's text reminder or HIPAA terms.

On entry list prices, HighLevel Starter costs more a year than any self-serve Acuity plan, and more than eight Calendly Standard seats ($960). Starter is $97 a month or $970 a year, and texts are extra: HighLevel lists $0.00747 per US text segment sent or received (10% off a $0.0083 list price), a local number at $1.15 a month, a $22.50 one-time registration (including a $3 Fast Track fee) and $1.50 to $10.50 a month per campaign for low-volume senders, before carrier pass-through fees. Its HIPAA add-on, open to agencies on any plan, costs "US$297 per month and cannot be disabled once purchased".

Two worked examples (hypothetical)

A salon with four staff calendars and 400 appointments a month, sending one single-segment text reminder per appointment:

  • Acuity Standard: $324 a year on yearly billing, with the text reminders included.
  • HighLevel Starter: $970, plus 4,800 text segments at $0.00747 ($35.86), a local number for 12 months ($13.80), $22.50 registration and $18 to $126 in campaign fees, comes to $1,060.16 to $1,168.16 for the first year, before carrier pass-through fees.
  • Calendly Standard: four seats at $480 a year, before any text costs, which we did not check.

A clinic with eight practitioners that needs a business associate agreement:

  • Acuity Premium: $660 a year on yearly billing, $72 more than the $588 it cost before mid October.
  • HighLevel Starter with the HIPAA add-on: $970 plus $3,564 ($297 times 12) is $4,534 a year before text, phone-number and registration costs, about 6.9 times Acuity Premium.

When HighLevel makes sense instead

HighLevel is not a cheaper Acuity. In our view it makes sense when the calendar is one piece of a system you would otherwise buy separately. HighLevel's pricing page lists booking calendars alongside CRM and pipelines, a website and funnel builder, email and SMS marketing, workflow automation, and payments and invoicing, with unlimited contacts and users and up to three sub-accounts on Starter. Agencies that run booking for several clients are the clearest fit, we think, though Starter stops at three sub-accounts and Unlimited costs $297 a month or $2,970 a year. If that is you, look at HighLevel (partner link), or start the 14-day HighLevel trial (partner link) and rebuild one calendar and its reminders there before you move live bookings.

imisofts offers GoHighLevel services, including calendar and booking setup, CRM configuration and workflow automation. If you run a trade business and lose bookings to missed calls, see our AI calling for home services page, which covers an AI agent that answers calls and a booking flow into your existing calendar. For the cost of the texting side, see our 10DLC registration cost breakdown, and for why reply speed matters, our speed to lead guide.

Which plan to choose

Our suggestion, based on the prices above:

  • One person, no automated reminders: Calendly Free. With reminders: Calendly Standard at $120 a year or Acuity Starter at $192 (email reminders, client forms and payments).
  • Two to six staff calendars with text reminders: Acuity Standard, $324 a year for up to six calendars, with texts at no extra Acuity fee where Acuity supports them.
  • Seven to 36 calendars, a BAA or the API: Acuity Premium, now $660 a year. New sign-ups pay $72 a year more than before mid October on yearly billing.
  • Already on Premium: check your renewal price and whether you hold legacy pricing before you change plan or billing period.
  • An agency, or a business replacing several tools: HighLevel, accepting that scheduling alone costs more there.

Starter and Standard did not change. That is $72 more a year on yearly billing and $96 more on monthly billing. We found no announcement from Acuity.

No. Acuity's FAQ says it doesn't offer free appointment scheduling at this time. You get a 7-day free trial with no credit card needed, but text reminders are not available during the trial. Calendly, by comparison, has a Free plan with one event type and one calendar connection.

Standard ($27 a month billed yearly) and Premium ($55). Starter has email reminders only. Acuity asks you to check availability in your country.

For one person, no: Calendly Standard is $10 a seat a month billed yearly ($120 a year) and Calendly Free costs nothing, against Acuity Starter's $16 ($192 a year). For a team it can be: four Calendly Standard seats cost $480 a year, while Acuity Standard covers up to six calendars for $324. Count hosts and calendars before comparing.

Among self-serve plans, yes for both. Acuity's help center says an account can be made HIPAA-enabled on the Premium or Powerhouse plan, and that CSS customization and API access are available on Premium or Powerhouse.
