ZoomInfo Pricing: $0.25 to $0.45 a Record, or a Sales Quote

Short answer. ZoomInfo does not print a price for its sales-led plans: zoominfo.com/pricing lists ZoomInfo Professional, Copilot Advanced and Copilot Enterprise with a "Get Pricing" button and no dollar figure. It does publish one price list, for GTM AI, its API, MCP and command-line product: data credits run from $0.45 a record at 100 credits down to $0.25 at 100,000, so 5,000 contact records cost $1,900 at list, or $570 as a first purchase under a 70% launch discount. The sales-led contracts are bigger: ZoomInfo's 2025 annual report works out to about $35,700 of revenue per customer, and 1,921 customers had contracts worth $100,000 or more a year at the end of 2025. Apollo lists Basic at $49 a seat a month on annual billing, with 30,000 credits a year. We earn a commission if you buy Apollo through our links; ZoomInfo pays us nothing.

What zoominfo.com/pricing tells you

On the sales side, the pricing page lists ZoomInfo Professional (contact and company data, mobile numbers, business email, CRM integrations), Copilot Advanced (adds intent signals, website visitors, workflows) and Copilot Enterprise (adds real-time intent and a dedicated manager), each with a "Start free trial" button and none with a price.

The FAQ explains the model instead: price depends on features, the number of licenses and credit usage. A credit is used when someone exports a contact or company profile, and "Each export costs one credit". A package includes "a predetermined number of monthly credits", and pre-packaged integrations "typically have a base cost to use and install and require a minimum purchase of bulk credits". The FAQ asks "What is the cost per contact on ZoomInfo?" and answers with when a credit is used, not what it costs. ZoomInfo's License Terms and Conditions, which govern products bought through its order forms, also define "All business terms of this Agreement, including, but not limited to, pricing and access" as ZoomInfo's Confidential Information.

The price list ZoomInfo does publish: GTM AI credits

GTM AI is ZoomInfo's headless product: its contact, company and intent data through an API, an MCP server for AI assistants such as Claude, and a command-line tool. The page says "Pay-as-you-go after that, from $20. One tier, no contract, no seat fees." A new account gets 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits once, with no credit card. One data credit is one company, contact or intent record enriched or exported; search and lookup are free. The page's calculator shows these list prices:

Data credits boughtPrice per creditList totalFirst purchase at 70% off
100$0.45$45$13.50
500$0.43$215$64.50
1,000$0.41$410$123
2,500 to 10,000$0.38$950 to $3,800$285 to $1,140
15,000 to 20,000$0.32$4,800 to $6,400$1,440 to $1,920
30,000 to 50,000$0.29$8,700 to $14,500$2,610 to $4,350
100,000$0.25$25,000$7,500

The 70% discount applies to a new signup's first data credit purchase, "for a limited time", with no end date given. AI credits, for deep-research agents and other AI-powered features, are a flat $0.05; most research calls cost 5 to 15, per ZoomInfo's documentation. Above 100,000 credits, ZoomInfo points you to Enterprise packages, which it says include annual volume pricing and mobile phone data.

Before a large top-up, check three details. Mobile numbers: the Enrich Contacts documentation lists "Mobile and direct phone numbers", then adds "The fields you receive depend on your ZoomInfo package entitlements", so a self-serve record may arrive without a mobile. Repeat charges: the headline says "ZoomInfo charges once per data point, per 12 months", and the credits documentation (updated 25 September 2026) applies that rule, Records Under Management, to the whole organization; the plan table marks it Enterprise only, and the FAQ says it "is an Enterprise benefit and does not apply to the free tier", the plan that lists the top-up packs. Expiry: one line says "Credits never expire while your account is active", the FAQ says "Credits expire 12 months after they are granted, whether free or purchased". Both conflicts are on ZoomInfo's own pages; get the answers in writing. We could not confirm which terms govern a GTM AI top-up; the clauses below apply to order-form products.

What ZoomInfo's annual report says customers pay

ZoomInfo's Form 10-K is the best public view of the sales-led contracts. For 2025 it reported revenue of $1,249.5 million and "over 35,000 customers", counting a customer as a company with at least one active paid subscription: about $35,700 per customer, a little less if the true count is higher. That is an average, not a quote. The same filing says 1,921 customers had $100,000 or more in annual contract value at the end of 2025 and "comprised over 50% of total Company ACV".

ZoomInfo does not publish total contract value, so take 2025 subscription revenue, $1,229.0 million, as a stand-in: if the other 33,000 or so customers hold under half of it, they average roughly $18,600 a year or less. That is our estimate, and the stand-in can move it a few percent either way. At 30 June 2026 ZoomInfo had 1,891 customers at $100,000 or more (9 more than a year earlier), net revenue retention of 89%, and second-quarter revenue of $310.4 million, up 1.2%. Subscriptions "generally range from one to three years in length", about 53% of contract value is multi-year, and contracts are typically non-cancelable and billed in advance.

Contract clauses that change the real cost

ZoomInfo's License Terms and Conditions govern products bought through an order form, and several clauses carry a price.

  • No cancelling mid-term. Section 3.1: "The Agreement is not cancellable". Late payment lets ZoomInfo suspend access or make all unpaid fees due at once, with interest of 1.5% a month or the legal maximum if lower. The License Terms contain no renewal clause; the term and any extension are set in the order form.
  • Logins are seats. A login given to another person who would qualify as a user counts as an extra seat, which ZoomInfo may charge at the prevailing per-user rate to the end of the term. Users must be employees; contractors need permission.
  • No work for clients. Data may not be used "for the benefit of or on behalf of any person or entity except Licensee", and section 7.3 entitles ZoomInfo to liquidated damages of $2.00 per contact record disclosed to, or used for, a third party, per recipient. On that formula, 5,000 records handed to one client comes to $10,000.
  • A data promise you can use. If more than 5% of contacts are not employed by the company shown, you can notify ZoomInfo, which then has 30 days to reach 95%; if it cannot, you may terminate for a prorated refund of prepaid fees. That remedy covers employment at the stated company. Uptime is promised at 99.9% a month.
  • What you keep, and what you owe. You may keep using data obtained during the term after it ends, subject to the terms, but must review ZoomInfo's removal list at least monthly and delete those people.

Apollo's standard terms are as firm on cancellation and renewal. Its Terms of Service (updated 10 August 2026) call subscription fees "non-cancelable and non-refundable", "based on the credits purchased, not actual usage", renewing for an equal term unless either side gives written notice at least 30 days before the end, at a fee Apollo may change. Its licence is for internal business purposes, it bars accessing the platform "on behalf of any person or entity other than you", and its pricing FAQ says sharing data with customers needs a separate agreement. We found no liquidated damages clause in Apollo's terms, and like ZoomInfo it lets you keep contact data you added to your own records during the term.

ZoomInfo Lite: free, and what it asks for

ZoomInfo Lite is the free version. It needs a business email, is not open to current or past subscribers of ZoomInfo's premium services, and comes with a "Standard monthly allowance" of credits that do not roll over; the pages we read give no number for it. The FAQ says a standard Lite account does not require sharing any data. Community Edition gives "increased monthly credits" if you connect Outlook, Google or a CRM and contribute business contact data.

The ZoomInfo Lite Community Terms of Use (updated 13 March 2025) spell out that trade: ZoomInfo's software may parse the contacts, signatures and header metadata in a connected account, and you grant ZoomInfo an irrevocable licence to "sell, transfer, assign, sublicense, disclose, or make available the Contact Data or any portion thereof to any third party, including ZoomInfo's customers". The terms' summary also opens with "If you use ZI Lite, ZoomInfo may access information in your email inbox", wider than the FAQ's answer for standard Lite. If clients' details sit in that inbox, decide whether that trade is yours to make.

What 5,000 contacts a year cost: ZoomInfo or Apollo

Here is the arithmetic for one buyer who needs 5,000 contacts in a year. Apollo charges 1 credit for an email and 8 for a phone number and grants credits per seat; GTM AI charges 1 credit per record, whatever fields come back.

NeedZoomInfo GTM AIApollo, one seat
5,000 emails, year one$570 as a first purchase; $1,900 at list$588 on Basic billed annually (5,000 of 30,000 credits); $130 for two months of Basic billed monthly ($195 if a third month renews)
5,000 emails, year two$1,900 at list$588 on Basic, if the price holds
5,000 emails and phone numbersThe same $570 or $1,900, if each record carries the phone you need (mobile data is listed under Enterprise)$948 on Professional billed annually (45,000 of 48,000 credits)
What you are buyingAPI, MCP and command-line access, 5 apps, 5 requests a second, no contractA seat with search, email sequences and its credits; 12 months on annual billing

The first row cuts against the tool we earn from: as a first purchase, ZoomInfo's 5,000 records for $570 beat a year of either Apollo plan ($588 or $948), with no contract and no seat fee, though not two months of Apollo Basic billed monthly ($130, or $195 if a third month renews; Apollo's FAQ says cancel anytime, its Terms ask for 30 days' notice, so confirm the timing). The 1,000 free signup credits come on top. Once the discount is spent, ZoomInfo's list price is about 3.2 times Apollo Basic for emails and twice Apollo Professional's $948 for emails plus phones, though GTM AI records may lack mobiles. Apollo's fine print matters too: unused credits expire each billing cycle, add-on credits renew until you remove them and carry no public price, annual plans allow no mid-cycle downgrade, every seat on an account must be on the same plan, and Basic's 30,000 credits are only cheap if you use them.

Bar chart of what 5,000 contact records cost in year one: ZoomInfo GTM AI at list $1,900, Apollo Professional with phones $948, Apollo Basic annual $588, ZoomInfo first purchase $570, two months of Apollo Basic $130

Which route fits which buyer

  • A team that needs ZoomInfo's intent data, org charts or enterprise integrations: the sales-led plans. Get the credit volume, renewal date, notice period and renewal price written into the order form.
  • A builder enriching records inside Claude, an agent or a script: GTM AI. Spend the 1,000 free credits first and confirm the repeat-charge and expiry rules before a large top-up.
  • A small team that needs emails, phone numbers and sequences in one tool: Apollo, where 5,000 emails and phone numbers fit one Professional seat's credits, if Apollo has a number for each. Our guides to Apollo's free plan limits and cost per verified email show what the credits buy.
  • An agency pulling lists for clients: Apollo's standard terms and ZoomInfo's License Terms bar it, and we could not confirm GTM AI's terms. Ask Apollo for the separate agreement its FAQ mentions, or agree client use with ZoomInfo in writing, before you build a client's list.
  • Anyone sending at volume: the list is only part of the cost. Bounces and domain reputation decide whether 5,000 contacts turn into replies, the part our email infrastructure work covers; our done-for-you B2B lead generation service runs the whole campaign.

Frequently Asked Questions

ZoomInfo does not publish prices for its sales-led plans (ZoomInfo Professional, Copilot Advanced, Copilot Enterprise); you request a quote. It does publish prices for GTM AI, its API, MCP and command-line product: $0.45 a record at 100 data credits, falling to $0.38 from 2,500 and $0.25 at 100,000, so 5,000 records cost $1,900 at list. ZoomInfo's 2025 annual report shows about $35,700 of revenue per customer on average, with 1,921 customers paying $100,000 or more a year.

Yes, two. ZoomInfo Lite is free with a business email and gives a standard monthly allowance of credits that do not roll over; Community Edition adds credits if you connect your mailbox or CRM and contribute contact data, which ZoomInfo's terms let it sell to third parties. GTM AI gives a new account 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits once, at signup, with no credit card.

On the sales-led plans, one credit is used each time someone exports a contact or company profile, and a package includes a set number of monthly credits. On GTM AI, one data credit is one company, contact or intent record enriched or exported. ZoomInfo's credits documentation says a record enriched in the past 12 months is not charged again, but its pricing page lists that rule, Records Under Management, as an Enterprise benefit, so confirm it before relying on it.

Not under ZoomInfo's License Terms and Conditions, which say the agreement is not cancellable; its 10-K says subscriptions generally run one to three years. Exits in the terms include an uncured material breach (21 days after notice) and a remedy if more than 5% of contacts are not employed by the company shown and ZoomInfo cannot reach 95% within 30 days. Renewal terms are set in your order form. Apollo's annual fees are also non-cancelable, with 30 days' notice needed to stop a renewal.

For one first purchase, it can be: 5,000 GTM AI records cost $570 with ZoomInfo's 70% new-signup discount, against $588 for a year of Apollo Basic or $948 for Apollo Professional with phone numbers. Two months of Apollo Basic billed monthly ($130) covers 5,000 emails for less. After the discount, ZoomInfo's $1,900 list price is about 3.2 times Apollo Basic, and ZoomInfo's 2025 revenue works out to at most about $35,700 per paying customer, across all seats and products.

Not under Apollo's standard terms or ZoomInfo's License Terms; we could not confirm which terms govern GTM AI top-ups. ZoomInfo's License Terms bar using data on behalf of anyone else and set liquidated damages of $2.00 per contact record per third-party recipient, so 5,000 records shared with one client would come to $10,000. Apollo's terms bar accessing the platform on behalf of others, and its pricing FAQ says sharing data with customers needs a separate agreement with custom pricing.
