ServiceTitan Virtual Agent vs Avoca vs Sameday AI: What Each Costs

October 6, 2026. ServiceTitan prints a price for its own AI voice agent, the product its help centre also calls the Virtual CSR: $2.75 per call, pay as you go, billed monthly with a 12-month rate lock and no minimum, according to its AI Voice Agent page. Its help centre FAQ adds the line that decides the maths: "All calls, regardless of their outcome or the caller's intent, are included in your bill." Sameday starts at $449 a month for 500 minutes. Avoca publishes no price at all. Here is what each costs and books, from the vendors' own pages.

What each one costs

  1. ServiceTitan AI Voice Agent: $2.75 a call. A wrong number or a hang-up bills the same as a booking; the current offer is one free month. It is built for US and Canadian residential home service companies on The Essentials and The Works packages with Basic Phone integration or Phones Pro, and its agent numbers are US numbers.
  2. Sameday: from $449 a month. Launch is $449 for 500 minutes and three locations; Scale is $789 for 1,000 minutes with unlimited locations and voice cloning. Its pricing calculator prices Scale at $1,125 for 1,500 minutes, $1,399 for 2,000, $1,625 for 2,500 and $1,925 for 3,500, and shows no higher figure past that, so ask for a quote above it. Billing is flat-rate monthly with no contract, and no overage rate is published.
  3. Avoca: no published price. Its pricing address returns a 404 and the site routes buyers to a demo. Avoca announced a Series B at a $1 billion valuation on April 27, 2026, with more than $125 million raised in total, so expect a sales-led contract, and treat any Avoca price in a third-party blog as one Avoca did not publish.

The break-even call length

Per call and per minute only compare once you know your average handled call. Divide each Sameday plan by its minutes and you get about $0.90 a minute on Launch, $0.79 on Scale at 1,000 minutes, $0.75 at 1,500, $0.70 at 2,000, $0.65 at 2,500 and $0.55 at 3,500. ServiceTitan's $2.75 equals 3.1 minutes on Launch, 3.5 on Scale at 1,000 minutes and 5.0 at 3,500. If your average call runs longer than that, the per-call price wins. If your line carries many short calls, spam and wrong numbers, each one costs $2.75 on ServiceTitan, while on a minute plan it draws down an allowance you have already paid for. Two caveats cut the other way: a Sameday plan costs the same whether you use the minutes or not, and its overage rate is not published.

Bar chart of Sameday's price per minute: about 0.90 dollars on Launch at 500 minutes, falling to 0.79 at 1,000, 0.75 at 1,500, 0.70 at 2,000, 0.65 at 2,500 and 0.55 at 3,500 minutes; ServiceTitan's 2.75 dollar call equals 3.5 minutes on the 1,000-minute plan.

What each one books into ServiceTitan

  1. ServiceTitan's own agent books new jobs with business unit and job type through Adaptive Capacity (or "natural capacity" without it). It recognises members and books against recurring service events, confirms and reschedules, collects invoice payments by text link when ST Payments is on, and cancels only if you switch that on. Its FAQ lists a launch gap: it cannot add call notes, summaries or transcripts to the booked job record.
  2. Avoca is a ServiceTitan Certified App whose integration page says jobs land on the board with customer name, address, service type and call notes.
  3. Sameday lists itself as a ServiceTitan Certified App on its scheduling page, where it syncs job types, business units, technicians and technician skills. Its ServiceTitan page says it takes forwarded calls from Phones Pro, SIP transfer or most phone providers.

What it means for operators

Pick on call mix and on the job record, not on the voice. If your booking calls run long and your line carries little junk traffic, the per-call price works in your favour. A line full of short calls favours a minute plan. And if your dispatchers rely on call notes, open a test job from each tool before you sign. ServiceTitan's agent can also call and text leads, and outbound AI calls in the US fall under the consent rules in our TCPA-compliant AI calling setup. Frequently Asked Questions

ServiceTitan's AI Voice Agent page lists $2.75 per call, billed pay as you go monthly with a 12-month rate lock and no minimum. Its help centre says all calls are billed regardless of outcome or the caller's intent, and promotions such as free calls are applied manually; the current offer is one free month. It is designed for residential home service companies in the US and Canada on The Essentials and The Works packages with Basic Phone integration or Phones Pro.

Launch starts at $449 a month with 500 minutes and three locations, and Scale at $789 a month with 1,000 minutes and unlimited locations. Sameday's calculator prices Scale at $1,125 for 1,500 minutes, $1,399 for 2,000, $1,625 for 2,500 and $1,925 for 3,500. Billing is flat-rate monthly with no contract; Enterprise is custom and no overage rate is published.

No. Avoca's site has no pricing page and routes buyers to a demo, so there is no published price to compare. Ask for the billing unit, whether short and spam calls count, and the term, then set the quote against ServiceTitan's $2.75 per call and Sameday's minute plans.

All three. ServiceTitan's own agent books through Adaptive Capacity but cannot yet add call notes, summaries or transcripts to the booked job. Avoca, a ServiceTitan Certified App, says jobs arrive with customer name, address, service type and call notes. Sameday syncs job types, business units, technicians and technician skills from ServiceTitan.
